
These photos were taken after Maverick had been moved into its final
location and had been totally rewired and prepared to enter production
mode.
This is the front of the cluster. The two racks nearest the wall are
part of "Gremlin", our visualization cluster.
This is a composite photo of the rear of the cluster before the rear doors
were installed.
This is the rear of the cluster taken from the left side in order to display
the ethernet (blue) wiring.
This is the rear of the cluster taken from the right side in order to display
the InfiniBand wiring.
This is the pull-out console that was installed in the second rack.
This is a close-up of a fully-cabled ISR9600 InfiniBand switch.
As this photo shows, these switches generate a considerable amount of
heat.
Once the photos were taken, the rear doors were installed. Additional
fans have been also mounted in the doors to help with air flow.
