| Biography: | Dr. Liang Wang received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1998 and 2001 respectively from Xian Jiaotong University in China, and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2005. He joined us as a Postdoctoral Associate in Oct 2005. Currently he is an Assistant Research Professor at CAVS. His research interests focus on the materials process optimization through numerical modeling and laboratory experiments, e.g. metal casting, welding, and solid freeform rapid fabrication.
