GRI Researchers Serve the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology

GRI researchers Ryan Wersal (Left) and John Madsen will serve on the Board of Directors and Board of Representatives for the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST).

Dr. Wersal will serve on the Board of Representatives for the Plant Agriculture and Environmental Issues Work Group.  Dr. Madsen will serve on the Board of Directors as Work Group Liaison for Plant Agriculture and Environmental Issues.

CAST was established in 1972 and is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization composed of scientific societies and many individual, student, company, nonprofit, and associate society members. CAST's Board is composed of representatives of the scientific societies, commercial companies, and nonprofit or trade organizations.
