CALL FOR PARTICIPATION FOR 1997 PARALLEL RENDERING SYMPOSIUM

October 20-21, 1997
Phoenix, Arizona
The Third Parallel Rendering Symposium will be held October 20th - 21st at the Sheraton
Crescent Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona in conjunction with the IEEE Visualization '97 conference.
Submitted papers containing original work in all areas of parallel rendering are solicited.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Performance modeling and analysis
- Parallel rendering architectures
- Volume rendering
- Raytracing
- Radiosity
- Scientific Visualization
- Time-varying data and animation
- Special effects and video processing
- I/O and display systems
- Architectural impact on algorithms

The deadline for submissions is March 31, 1997. Final papers will be limited to 8
proceedings pages, approximately 8000 words, including one separate page of color
figures. Submit five copies of your paper, and five copies of any accompanying NTSC
