Biography

John McGinley is a Research Associate in the Human and Systems Engineering research team at CAVS. He recieved his BS in Computer Science from Mississippi State University in 1997. John McGinley is currently leading efforts to use human motion capture in ergonomics research and digital human model validation.



Leading up to and following his graduation, John lead the visualization efforts for the CFD Lab at the Engineering Research Center at MSU. He spent 3 years in Colorado Springs working as a software engineer. His work has spanned academia, government contracting, and commercial companies in areas of research, scientific computing, and business software development.

Research Interest
John\'s research interests include digital human modeling, human motion capture systems, biomechanics of human motion, and the real-world application of each. His background and interests also include software engineering, systems integration, computer graphics and visualization, and virtual and augmented reality.
